Why does it do that.............?
I wear alot of rings used to wear gold only. Now I am wearing a ring that I hold very dear that used to belong to my grandmother which past. It is silver with a black onyx. So I started wearing gold on one hand and silver on the other. Now....... the ring that was my grandmothers always turns black the whole ring as if I soaked it in bleach. Why does it do that and why only that ring and not the other silver once I wear too? And I do clean all my rings regular
I cannot wear fake jewelry I get quite a reaction on it.......
And the particular ring I am talking about is actually worth quite a sum thank you.......
Now I know real jewelry turns black or your fingers green when you're sick but I am fine
I don't have any health problems
Well the rings do not sound cheap to me. mabey its just the way it reacts with your skin. i know of a few "expensive" jewlrey that has had that kind of reaction to my skin.
you could *try to put a clear coat of nail polish over the ring(s). my mom told me to try this once and surprislying it worked.
