Is the Blendtec 5 sided jar better performing than the smaller jar?
I own the Blendtec Total Blender with the smaller jar. I am considering buying the larger 5 sided jar that they came out with but I am not sure if the claims are really true that it can blend better with the 5th side creating more turbulance inside the jar. Help.
It is sad that it took Blendtec this long to figure this out.
Physics showed us years ago the a round container was not the best because it created a cyclone venturi.
The four side jar solved this, but created dead spots. If the blades are designed correctly the five sides will be close to maximizing the grinding process.
I will bet that in a number of years they will finally figure out the 7-sides will be the optimum.
