Has anyone stayed in the "deluxe" rooms at Dreams Cancun?
My husband and I are staying at Dreams in November for our belated honeymoon and we booked a deluxe room. I am curious if these rooms overlook the beach or pool or neither. Also, what is the best way to upgrade if this kind of room does not overlook as we reeeealy want a room that faces some body of water!

First off Congratulations! There are different styles of the Deluxe room so just check what information you have and match it with the link I provided below. Dreams is the ONLY resort in Cancún that has the Caribbean ocean on all three sides of the resort. So, chances are that you will be overlooking the ocean, but if not you will be in view of the pool/tropical oasis they have and they actually have dolphins in the tropical lagoon by the pool. It's really neat.
Next, let them know before hand or when you arrive that it is you honeymoon and you will be taken care of very nicely. Also, on the link I gave you there is a section that tells you about honeymoons. You can send them an e-mail and explain to them that it's your special occasion. If not...you should have no trouble switching to a room that you would like when you get there. Just tell them when you arrive it's not what you were wanting and they will make the adjustments. I recommend that you make a copy of your marriage documents to take so they don't think you are trying to pull a fast one and they will have NO problem in giving you everything you want and need to make your special vacation a memorable one. When you arrive just ask to speak to the manager and show him/her the documents and you will be treated very nicely! Congrats and Enjoy your time...Dreams is a very nice resort!!!
